Do I need to be home when you clean?

If you feel you need to be home to met your clean team it's your choice. If you choose not to be home you can give us a key which we can pick up before your cleaning date or you can hide a key in a safe place and if you choose to give us access thru your garage you can just give us your entry code. Same applies with your alarm system. By far the most efficient and problem free way for everyone is for you to give us a key and alarm code.

How do you protect my keys?

Your key is secured in a locked key safe that only the management has access to. The key is issued to your team supervisor who returns it at the end of the day.

How many people will clean my home?

We find the most efficient way of cleaning your house is with 2 people. Each employee is given a specific task while in your home.

Do I need to provide my own cleaning products or vacuum?

Brookins Cleaners brings all its own cleaning products. If you prefer for us to use a certain product that you like, please have it on your kitchen counter on the day we come to clean your home.

How do I pay for your services?

Payment is due at time of service. You may pay by cash or personal check (please make checks payable to: David Brookins). If you are not home during your initial cleaning we will ask you for the full estimated amount plus tax. If it takes less time then we estimated, you will be given a credit towards your next cleaning or refund the difference.

What is the cost of my cleaning?

Your fee is based on the size and condition of your home and how much time is spent on your home. Please use our Free Estimate Form to get a free cleaning estimate for your home or office.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, unless you are a corporate / commercial entity. On the initial visit we do require for you to sign a copy of our basic terms and conditions, but you are never committed to continue service beyond today's visit.

How do you deal with pets?

Cats are not a problem. We take great care to ensure that indoor cats stay indoors. Dogs are a little more difficult. Many of our customers have dogs, but are able to minimize interaction by confining them to an area of the home not being cleaned, such as a basement, garage, spare bedroom or kennel.

Am I going to have a different cleaning crew everytime?

No, Brookins Cleaners is owned and operated by David & Marie Brookins. On occasion we may have our 16 year old son assist us if the job requires it.
